Description

Please Note: This bike has been sitting on display in Roland’s shop for several years. He will sell the bike as a runner, but due to time constraints with the upcoming race season he will need the bike for roughly three weeks after the auction ends before it is ready to be picked up or delivered.

The Dyna Ripper is shown several times in RSD’s 2017 Fall Apparel Launch Video:

Additional photos of the Dyna Ripper are available here for your perusal.

Originally built in 2014, the Dyna Ripper is a 2010 Harley-Davidson Dyna Glide that Roland Sands customized for the Hot Bike Power Tour.

After two trips out and back to Sturgis plus “multiple days of local thrashing“, RSD noted that the Dyna Ripper was “bruised up a bit” so they gave it an update.

There are several parts from the Roland Sands catalog:

RSD Del Mar wheels and rotors.

RSD shifter toe peg, footpegs.

RSD Traction Grips, Radial Masters.

Prototype stainless steel RSD Slant High pipe.

Beyond that, RSD tapped a few aftermarket companies to help complete the update:

Barnett throttle cables, Spiegler brake lines.

Paint by Taylor Shultz of Unknown Industries.

15″ Progressive Suspension 970 series shocks.

Bitchin Seat Company custom leather seat.

The engine has been significantly worked over: a 107 ci stroked motor by Bennett’s Performance with S&S 4.5″ crank, 3 7/8″ pistons, 585 gear-drive cams, Branch O’Keefe ported heads, JIMS USA handcrafted tappet covers, Diamond Engineering 12-point SS bolts, AB Tech billet pushrod tubes, and Feuling oil pump/camplate. Claimed output is 120 horsepower and 120 foot-pounds of torque.

This example is VIN: 1HD1CX436AC329250.

There is no odometer, true mileage is unknown. Roland estimates that the motor has roughly 5,000 miles on it since it was built by Bennett’s.

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on Dunlop Sportmax tires with date codes of 2415 and 5117.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
