Description
Click here for an VINData Motorcycle History Report on this 2017 BMW R nineT Urban G/S. Additional photos are available here for your perusal.
Initially introduced in 2014, the BMW R nineT was such a surprise hit that it eventually led to an entire family of bikes – but all with the 1,170cc boxer motor generating 110 horsepower and 86 lb-ft of torque.
The R nineT (in any form) is a good choice for someone who wants to do some customization and for 2018, BMW introduced a final member to the impressive R nineT platform. They already had the original, the Scrambler, the Pure, and the Racer, but the last sibling to join the family was the Urban GS, which added a dose of off-road flavor with a lovely white/red/blue BMW Motorsports livery and red seat that evoked the styling of the iconic R80G/S Paris Dakar.
While this Urban G/S may look somewhat stock at first glance, Roland Sands has outfitted the bike with a number of top-shelf parts from the RSD catalogue. They include:
RSD Radial Valve Covers, oil filler cap.
RSD Assault brake and clutch reservoir covers, bar clamp.
This example is VIN: WB10J4301JZ796428.
The odometer shows 1,528 miles.
It is riding on Dunlop TKC80 tires with date codes of 5016 and 0517.
