Though Suzuki made most of its engine alterations the year before, the 1988 GSX-R750 proved quite the competitive performer. Built with a 73mm bore and a 44.7mm stroke, it was capable of putting out 112hp and 54.9lb-ft of torque.

This example is Engine #: R708104459. We acquired this is a trade-in towards some service work. It is either a 1988/1989 engine, we are unable to confirm.
