Following Marc Marquez’s impressive start in the MotoGP class, Tissot decided to celebrate the Spanish rider by making him a brand ambassador. As with Nicky Hayden and other riders, this meant that Marquez received an annual limited release bearing his name.
Measuring 43mm across and made from a combination of stainless steel and black PVD, the watch is bound on a matching leather band. Like its predecessors, it features a quartz movement, 100 meters of water resistance, Super-LumiNova lume, and a sapphire crystal complete with a date window.
Here’s what Tissot had to say: “This limited-edition of the Tissot T-Race watch pays tribute to motorcycle racer and MotoGP Champion Marc Márquez, a brand ambassador for Tissot. Powered by a Swiss-made chronograph movement for superior, accurate timing, it features big, bright markers and hands, a tachymeter border and a subtle ant on the dial that’s the racer’s signature motif. The brushed bezel has slanted notches to mimic the quick motion around a racetrack, while a two-tone leather strap has perforations to complete the speedy, sporty look. To make it an even better gift, this robust timepiece comes in a case that looks like a motorcycle helmet, complete with Marc Márquez custom decals.”
This example is reference: T1154172705701. It is #3,921/3,993.
The sale includes the original box, helmet case, and assorted paperwork.
Cosmetic Blemishes:
There are no cosmetic blemishes of note. The watch still wears its protective film on the case back.
