Iconic is notified from time to time about special motorcycles that have unfortunately been stolen. Here are some bikes that we’re on the lookout for – send us a tip if you have any information and can help these bikes go back to their rightful homes!
Success Stories
Honda RC45
Adam recognized the VIN of a stolen RC45 from 20 years ago, so when a client reached out about a RC45 that he had found in the back of a shop, Adam knew what he had to do!
He asked a follower to check the VIN on the bike from the photo was able to confirm it was the same bike.
It was an incredible moment in our history – the wife of the deceased owner called us and was in tears, she couldn’t believe one of our followers found it!
Steve Rapp’s Honda VFR800
How cool is this!!!
One of Adam’s dearest mates (legendary motorcycle racer Steve Rapp) had his bike stolen from LAX. Rapp is a pilot for Alaska Airlines so he rides his bike to work often. Adam shared a post about it and the bike was found soon after.
I’m not sure our post helped or not but we had 29 million impressions last month on Social Media so maybe they realized it was “too hot to handle”.
He was so bummed and now he’s smiling again. This fills my heart!
We will make it perfect again!
Honda RC31 Custom
We sold this incredible custom Honda Hawk on our auction site years ago, and unfortunately it was stolen from the new owner’s home. Per Adam:
“This bike was stolen from not just a client of Iconic Motorbikes but a dear friend. We posted about the theft on our social media and she was Recovered this weekend!
Our client is OVER THE MOON and we are thrilled to help! We had 1.7 million impressions last week on Instagram and it worked
Here’s the message from the Iconic friend that called us and led to the return of this missing RC31:
“ I was driving home from Walmart and spotted it in an apartment parking space. I made a loop through just to look to see if it was an RC 30 and noticed the 31. That’s when I remembered what bike it was and y’all’s post from a few weeks ago. Long story short, contacted PD then found your phone number and called. Got owner’s info from Abhi and passed it to the police officer I was talking to. That’s the last I heard. Bike looked just fine from a quick drive by.”
We have a box of goodies coming to you and “David”, the owner of the bike can’t thank you enough.
