Released in 2004, the Thruxton was a factory cafe racer that Visor Down summed it up perfectly: “Triumph’s Thruxton is nostalgia in a bottle…

For the first four years, the 865cc engine in the Thruxton was fed by carbs en route to producing 69 horsepower.

This example is VIN: SMT920K135J219562. “I’m the third owner of the motorcycle. Second owner of the motor. I bought the bike back in 2011 all stock with the exception of a Staintune slip-on exhaust.”

True mileage is unknown. “The motor currently in the bike had approximately 12k miles on it when I purchased it. I have put on another estimated 8k miles (estimated 20k total miles on the current motor). Total on the frame and body work is 30k miles.”

Maintenance in last 500 Miles. All work with the exception of the fork refresh was performed by me in my garage.

British Customs 2-1 exhaust.

Front Forks from a 2006 Triumph Daytona 675 w/ .90kg KTech springs. Forks refreshed within last 500 miles (Jan 2022)

Brembo master cylinder from Yamaha R6.

Carrozzeria wheels, Yamaha R6 front brake calipers, Braking SK2 Wave Rotors w/Matching (Track) Pads.

Daytona 675 Triple Tree by Free Spirits

LSL Steering Damper.

Discacciati Rearsets – Modified to run GP Shift. Will also provide original shift lever to convert back to standard shift.

Koso Tachometer – Magnetic Speedometer pickup is not wired in.

MotogpWerks/Calfab Braced Swingarm w/chain guard, Ohlins shocks.

520 chain conversion, K&N oil filter, front sprocket cover.

TPUSA igniter. Battery and majority of wiring harness is hidden under the rear seat cowl.

Cosmetic Blemishes:
The seller notes “minor scratches and some small spots of paint peeling on the motor.”

It is riding on Pirelli Diablo Rosso III/II (front/rear) tires with date codes of 4217 and 1418.

Continental US:
Haul Bikes will ship anything sold through Iconic for a starting rate of $750 in the Continental US (prices may increase in rural markets), and Iconic will handle the paperwork on your behalf. You do not need to crate your bike or drain the gas/disconnect the battery if you go with Haul Bikes. We are glad to work with the shipper of your choice as well, but you will have to arrange it.

  • spares/extras will have to be shipped separately via FedEx or similar.
  • the fee includes $15,000 of insurance with a $500 deductible. Additional insurance can be purchased at a cost of $50 per additional $5,000 of value.
