In 1982, Kawasaki built 29 examples of the KZ1000S1, a damn good copy of the previous year’s race bike campaigned by Eddie Lawson. They were only made available to the factory race team and any American dealerships that sponsored Superbike teams – the last two we’ve seen sell have both gone for over $100,000. If you don’t have that kind of coin but are interested in getting a taste of what the S1 might be like to ride, this listing is for several parts that emulate some of the upgrades found on the Iconic S1. The sale includes:
PM wheels with cast iron full floating rotors.
Three PM calipers (two front, one rear).
Braced swingarm.
Adjustable rear sets.
Aftermarket oil cooler.
Steel braided brake and oil lines.
Tommaselli clip-ons, steering damper, foot controls, Tokico rear brake master cylinder.
Chain guard.
