Click here for an VINData Motorcycle History Report on this 2013 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Yoshimura Limited Edition. Please note that the report states there are two open recalls on this motorcycle.

The Gixxer has been a fixture in the sportbike world for decades, and Pops Yoshimura is famous for his involvement with Suzuki’s factory racing team. The two names have been closely intertwined for years, and one of the most recent collaborations is the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Yoshimura Limited Edition. Just 45 of these bikes were produced (15 in each displacement of 600/750/1000).

Yoshimura no longer has a page dedicated to this bike, however a quick trip with the Internet Archive Way Back Machine turns up this page from February of 2014. For posterity’s sake, we’ll include their press release so you can learn all about this rare Suzuki: “Yoshimura is proud to announce the latest version of the Limited Edition Series. In this Millennium Year of the Suzuki GSX-R series with over a million GSX-R’s off the production line, we are excited to introduce the very Limited 2013 Series. Only 45 of these Limited Edition Series Bikes will be available, providing Dealers and consumers a unique opportunity to “Upgrade Their Status” by participating in this exclusive program.”

Yoshimura introduced the Limited Edition Series at the American Suzuki show in Orlando Fla. last year and the response from dealers and consumers has been phenomenal. The latest version of these very unique motorcycles was unveiled at the recent Suzuki Dealer show in Las Vegas, NV and once again the response was fantastic with many dealers committing to carry the line.

With a stunning new paint scheme in Black and Red with gold pin striping the latest version raises the bar and offers consumers a chance to own something that is truly special. Available in 600/750 and 1000cc again production numbers will be very limited and model-mix will be determined by dealer demand.

Along with the new paint scheme, Yoshimura has added a radiator logo and substantial in-store merchandising support for the latest Limited. Consumers lucky enough to own one of these rare motorcycles will receive an owners appreciation package including a carbon fiber pen-holder with their name and a matching Limited Edition Badge attached so they can daydream at work knowing they own a piece of history.

Each one of the 45 Yoshimura Limited Edition GSX-R’s comes with a new paint scheme in Black and Red with gold pin striping. Each Limited Edition GSX-R also includes a Yoshimura R-77 Carbon Fiber EPA Noise-Compliant Slip-On (EPA Noise Compliant Slip-On meets EPA and CARB emissions requirements, and EPA Noise requirements), and a plethora of aircraft-grade aluminum CNC machined hard parts, including:
