As the son and nephew of successful dirt track riders Dave and Paul Bostrom, Ben Bostrom kicked off his career by taking the AMA 600 Dirt Track National Championship in 1993. Just two years later, Bostrom switched to road racing. In 1998, he managed to ride to an AMA Superbike national championship for Honda — without even winning a race during the season. Come 2000, Bostrom had started racing full-time in the Superbike World Championship aboard a factory Ducati. The following season, he finished third overall, winning a total of six races — five of which were consecutive podium finishes.

His distinctive stars and stripes livery inspired Ducati’s 998S Ben Bostrom Replica, as well as this Suomy Gun Wind helmet (originally sold in the UK) that Ben has signed.

It is a size Large (59/60 cm).

The seller had owned this helmet since new, he had Ben sign it at Sears Point/Sonoma Raceway in the early 2000s.
