Additional photos of this Honda CL77 Scrambler 305 are available here for your perusal.

The dirt-oriented brother of the Superhawk, the CL77 was an incredibly popular motorcycle thanks to a distinctive style and sound.

It featured increased ground clearance (thanks to the distinctive exhaust), a bigger frame (which eliminated space for an electric starter), smaller fuel tank, bigger 19-inch wheels, and universal tires.

The 305cc parallel twin revved to 9,000 rpm and produced 28.5 horsepower.

This example is VIN: CL771067537, Engine #: CL77E-1067542. We believe it’s a 1968 model but we are not 100% sure – please share in the comments if you have a verifiable source about VIN/Year ranges for this model!

The odometer shows 8,627 miles.

The seller is letting this go due to poor health – he’s had Iconic sell off several bikes from his collection over the last few months, including:
1979 Suzuki GS1000S Wes Cooley Replica With 3 Miles
1987 Yamaha FZR750RT With 1.1 Miles
1989 Suzuki GSX-R750RK With 5 Miles
1990 Honda RC30 With 1 Mile
1994 Honda RC45 With Zero Miles

This CL77 has been sitting for years and does not currently run. The motor turns over.

Modifications:
Battery tender lead.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
