The Aprilia Pegaso was an excellent dual sport that suffered the same fate as most Aprilias in the 90s/00s – it was poorly marketed and under appreciated. Present to the public in 1989 as a 125cc it would later be available in 50, 600, and 650 engine sizes.
Evolving out of Aprilia’s Taureg Wind from which it shared the chassis, braking system, 6-speed gearbox and near bullet proof Rotax 123 engine, the 242lbs dry Pegaso “brings together the lightness, handling, and styling of the best enduro models with incredible chasis solidity, stability, acceleration and braking typical of a very sporty road bike.”
