Click here for an CycleVIN Motorcycle History Report on this 2003 Aprilia RS50. Additional photos are available here for your perusal.

Introduced in the early 90s, the Aprilia RS50 became a breakout hit in 1999 thanks to an aluminum frame (making it the first mass-produced 50cc with a die-cast aluminum frame) as well as a styling update reminiscent of Aprilia’s GP race bikes. European youths were all over it as licensing rules were relaxed for <50cc motorcycles and scooters. The heart of the ’02 RS50 was a 49.7cc Motori-Minarelli AM6 two-stroke engine paired with a six-speed transmission. Unrestricted models are capable of 60 miles per hour, depending on the weight of the rider.

Want a fun little bike to run around the track that won’t break the bank…parts are all readily available and not expensive, plus, you can rebuild the motor in an afternoon with ease as it weighs next to nothing.

Manufactured in January of 2003, this example is VIN:ZD4PGF0013S001300. The seller purchased this bike four years ago from a collector.

The seller has put 20 miles on it since owning it. The odometer shows 428 miles.

The seller had the fluids changed, carbs cleaned, and new tires installed.

Arrow exhaust.

Battery tender lead.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on IRC NR53 tires with date codes of 1417 and 1120.

The sale includes two keys, the original exhaust, and an additional set of decals.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Aprilia is offered on a clean California title with registration current through May 2022.
