Perfect for the rider who wants to enjoy power and comfort, the Kawasaki Concours 14 was introduced in 2008 with a 1,352cc motor pulled and tweaked from the legendary Ninja ZX-14.
In no time at all, the bike made a name for itself amongst riders looking to travel far and at speed – Motorcyclist named it Best Touring Bike in 2008 and 2009, but that was far from the only award it earned from the press.
Standard features included keyless ignition, an adjustable power windshield, and heated grips. Fast (150-plus horsepower) yet spacious (nearly 700lbs wet), the Concours 14 even boasted a final shaft drive for maximum comfort and minimal maintenance.
As Rider Magazine put in its review, “The Concours 14 has been purpose-built for long-distance travel in comfort-it also just happens to have the handling, braking and cojones of Kawasaki’s largest kick-butt sportbike, nearly a liter-and-a-half in size.”
Manufactured September 2016, this example is VIN: JKBZGNE10HA007236. The seller purchased the bike from a private party out of Poway, California, March 2024. He regrettably is selling and states, “I love the look, the awesome blue paint from that year, and the power of the engine. I’m more used to the BMW and I would keep it but my wife is upset that there are now two motorcycles in the garage!”
During his ownership the seller has covered approximately 200 miles. The odometer shows 11,139 miles.
Maintenance:
The seller states, “I changed the engine oil and rear end oil. I have the receipt, and half empty bottles of each. I took a few photos of the oil changes while doing.”
