Javier “Xavi” Forés is a Spanish motorcycle racer who started, like many aspiring riders, on small 125cc in his native country of Spain. After progressing through the ranks, he competed in Moto2 during the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Come 2016, Xavi had a one off appearance in MotoGP substituting for Loris Baz. It was that same year he became a permanent WorldSBK rider, competing with the Barni Racing Team for three seasons. In 2018 he achieved five podiums and became the Independent Riders Champion. Fast forward to 2023 and Flores moved to the States to compete in MotoAmerica for Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati NYC, teammates with Josh Harrin, saddling a V2.
Xavi excelled on the Panigale V2 saying, “I always felt, even in the past, I was super strong and comfortable on the V2. When I was in the Spanish championship, I won the title. Then in Germany I won the title. Then I moved to superbike with the same V2. I did podiums in superbike and was fighting often for the top-five in the World Superbike for three years in a row. The confidence I always had with that bike was great.”
