Description

Additional photos of this bodywork are available here for your perusal.

Over the course of his career, Sete Gibernau netted some nine victories, 30 podium finishes, and 13 pole positions — not to mention eight fastest laps. Arguably more impressive, though, was his persistence; he raced in the 250cc World Championship, the 500cc World Championship, and the MotoGP World Championship, and he even had a brief stint in the MotoE World Cup. To top it all off, he made two comebacks during this time — once in 2009 and again in 2019.

Sete switched from Honda to Suzuki for the 2001 season (the end of the 500cc two-stroke era) and raced for Telefonica Movistar Suzuki on a RGV500. His first-ever 500cc race win came that year at Valencia, conquering the the world’s best in front of 120,000 of his fellow countrymen. He placed 9th at the end of the season, two spots ahead of his teammate Kenny Roberts Jr.

Sete has signed the windscreen.

The sale includes the matching tail cowl.
