Description

Note: the squealing noise in this video is from the tachometer.

Additional photos of this Suzuki RG50 are available here for your perusal.

In 1977, Suzuki introduced the RG50, a small two-stroke standard. Five years later, the model evolved into the RG50 Gamma, a baby sportbike and the smallest of the Gamma lineup.

The 49cc liquid-cooled 2-stroke single pushed 7 horsepower through a six-speed transmission, and the whole package weighed just 160 pounds.

This example is VIN: NA11A-17305, Engine, #:A105-172988.

The odometer shows 17,099 kilometers (10,624 miles).

This is part of the collections we recently imported from South Africa. Olly threw it up on a lift to install a battery and clean the carb in preparation for the auction. He also lubed the tachometer cable but the tachometer still squeals – please see the video up top.

The tires are from 2009 and 2011.

Cosmetic Blemishes:
It appears to have been repainted, though the font of te “Suzuki” logos on the tail may not be correct.

The windshield is missing two bolts.

The bike is equipped with a luggage rack.

The sale includes one key.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Suzuki is offered on a Bill of Sale only. Have any RG50 stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the comments!
