1993 Kawasaki ZX-7R M1

Kawasaki updated their standard ZX-7 sportbike in 1993 with ram-air induction and the upgraded pistons and cams from the previous year’s “R” special. That gave the 1993 “R” a better platform to improve upon, adding trick components like an adjustable swingarm pivot.

Other notable upgrades that riders got to enjoy with the “R” included: Aluminum gas tank, solo tail, compression and rebound adjustability in the 41mm front forks, remote reservoir shock, 39mm Keihin FCR flat slide carbs. and a close-ratio transmission.

Another change is the supplemental hole in the right side fairing – that’s to adjust the flatslides.

Manufactured October 1992, this example is VIN: JKAZXDM10PA000141. The seller purchased the bike Fall 2022 from a private party through an Iconic auction.

During his ownership the seller has covered approximately 7 miles. The odometer shows 13,091 miles.

Maintenance:
The seller reports changing all fluids.
