Additional photos of this helmet are available here for your perusal.

If you’ve been following Iconic, you know that we’re huge fans of Scott Russell – and we thought we’d mix things up by offering a signed helmet from his 1996 MotoGP season with Suzuki at no reserve to complement our listing for his 1993 WSBK Championship bike.

In addition to his storied WSBK career, Mr. Daytona spent two years in MotoGP with Lucky Strike Suzuki racing 500cc two-strokes. In the 1996 season, he placed 6th overall after competing in 13 races and earning 2 podiums.

The livery was created by Troy Lee Designs and was so popular that Shoei ended up offering a production replica.

Scott signed this helmet with a message of “Thanks Chris.”

The sale includes a Shoei helmet bag.

Here are the photos we were able to get of labels in the interior:

This helmet has been on display in our shop for a year – we acquired it as part of a collection of Suzuki MotoGP memorabilia from Suzuki super-fan Dean Morrice. We sold it here on our auction site in April 2022 but the owner has just kept it in a closet and wants it to find a new home where it will be shown off better.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this helmet is offered on a Bill of Sale only. Have any Scott Russell stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
