A lifelong audio engineer with an ear for precision and a passion for rhythm, Greg Zydyk’s fascination with finely tuned machines naturally extended beyond the studio and onto the road. His love for music and the classic café racer style led him on a decades-long journey to uncover the symphony of sound and speed in small-displacement Japanese motorcycles.
It all began with the legendary RC166—a six-cylinder marvel that sparked Greg’s obsession with high-revving, low-capacity bikes. This quest led him to the Honda MC22 and the broader world of Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) motorcycles, where engineering met artistry. With limited access and no easy path to import, Greg spent over 13 years navigating the intricate world of acquisition and restoration, handpicking only the finest examples.
As the curator of this remarkable collection, Greg now feels it’s time to pass the torch. Each bike offered at auction is a testament to his pursuit of excellence and represents the golden era of Japanese cycling—meticulously sourced, preserved, and loved.
